There are many positions on the issue of “what is art.”
Some viewers here on dA will say something like “This isn’t art, because it is a photo of a body part” or “This isn’t art, because it is too dark (or too light).” If you are going to offer an opinion about what is art and what isn’t art, please try to understand what has already been said about the topic. Then, when you offer a brand-new definition of art, at least you will know that you are assigning a non-standard meaning to a common, much-discussed word.
